Love is in the air at PacaPod HQ and we've been looking at mini-breaks with our loved ones. We've picked our favourite UK locations for babymoons, the first getaway with your little one in tow plus family breaks that will suit the whole brood.

Babymoons

A chance to enjoy some time with your partner before your baby arrives, baby moons have grown in popularity massively in the past 10 years. We think the opportunity to enjoy some special spa treatments, like at this spa day at Saunton Sands Hotel near us in North Devon, and follow it up with a delicious meal with your partner is the perfect short break.

Or maybe you want to escape from everything and spend some time alone as a couple before you welcome the newest addition to your family. The beautiful Isle of Arran is the setting for these glamping yurts - ideal if you want to get away from it all.

Baby's First Holiday

It can be tricky to find a hotel that has all the facilities to look after you and your little one. What about the luxurious Moonfleet Manor in Dorset? Based on the Jurassic Coast, this hotel and spa has a créche for babies aged 3 months and over so you know they will be looked after while you get pampered. From the same brand there is the Ickworth Hotel in Suffolk which is set in 1800 acres of National Trust land - perfect for walks in the fresh air.

Family Breaks

For something your children will remember, how about a break with a difference? The treehouses at the Fish in the Cotswolds are the ideal mix of magic and luxury, with underfloor heating and outdoor baths on a deck that's wrapped around an oak tree.

Rockcliffe Hall in County Durham has its new MischMasch area, where children can have all sorts of adventures based on Alice in Wonderland. They also offer a childminder service so you can have a spa treatment while your little ones are off having fun.
